Home Baking

I have seen this type of cookie dough many times on recipe sites that are for home baking. It is quite easy to make and tastes great. I have also made it once in my own kitchen using my own recipes. The other day I ordered some chocolate chip cookies from my favorite grocery store. I made a double batch; I used half the recipe.

When you’re ready to bake your chocolate chip cookie, first assemble your cookie dough. Using a mixing paddle or hook, turn out the dough into a bowl. In a large bowl, stir together the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients, and mix until completely blended. Then, add in the chocolate chips.

Roll Out The Prepared Dough

Roll out the prepared dough onto a flat surface. Don’t forget to spread the chocolate chips on the surface of the cookie dough. If using a microwave, place half of the chips in the microwave for about one minute. This will melt the chocolate chips. Once you have spread the chips on the dough, place it in the oven. Bake on 350F for approximately ten to fifteen minutes.

While the cookies are baking, make sure you use a rack in your refrigerator to keep the cookies from drying out. Allow the cookies to cool before removing them from the oven. If you don’t have a rack, you will probably want to place the cookies on a cooling rack.

Store The Cookie

Store the cookie dough in an airtight container. This will help prevent the cookies from drying out if you decide to use the cookies right after they’re baked. It is important to let the cookie dough cool completely, especially if you decide to use it right away. The cooled cookie dough will be soft and fluffy. Refrigerate leftover cookies for about two weeks to ensure they won’t be used during the holidays.

Now that you know how to bake a chocolate chip cookie, you can start planning your next recipe. Chocolate chip cookies are so popular today that you can find recipes for just about any kind of chocolate chip cookie imaginable. Try a variation of Old MacDonald’s or Baked Alaska! You can also search for chocolate chip cookie recipes online. I’m sure you’ll be able to find many more delicious recipes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.

Bottom Lines

You can decorate your cookies any way you want. I prefer to let my cookies set and show off their beautiful colorful sides. To add a bit of elegance to my cookies, I sometimes add a few drops of hot chocolate or hazelnut extract. It’s also possible to make chocolate chip cookies that have no toppings, just chocolate chips. These make a delicious treat for children when attending family functions. Alternatively, you could make chocolate chip cookies and freeze them individually by placing them into trays, then removing them from the trays and putting them into a freezer.
